The SC rejected a petition seeking a stay of Rajasthan govt's decision to implement 5% quota for Gujjar and 4 other communities. In February this year, the state government had introduced a bill in the assembly to give a five per cent quota in jobs and educational institutes to Gujjar and four other communities agitating for it.
